To place a wholesale or studio order, write to us through the Contact page with three things: how many mats, which mats, and when you need them. We weave everything ourselves on handlooms in Komarapalayam, so a bulk order is not picked from a warehouse shelf; it joins the loom schedule, and the lead time depends on what is already on the looms. We will reply with what we can weave, by roughly when, and at what price.

Who orders in bulk
Yoga studios and teacher-training courses. Retreat centres order for shalas and guest rooms. Companies order for Diwali or International Yoga Day gifting. Families order grass mats as wedding return gifts. Each needs something slightly different, which is why we ask about the order rather than publishing a fixed bulk price list.
What to tell us
- Quantity, and whether the order might repeat. A studio that reorders every year is planned for differently from a one-off event.
- Which mats. For sweaty, shared classes we suggest washable cotton such as the Indico. Where cost per mat matters, for gentle classes, meditation rooms and gifts, the wipe-clean Sambu Frame at ₹1,799 at the time of writing is a sensible pick. The Prana Shakti chakra rug suits a studio that wants its mats to say something. Our guide to buying mats for a studio goes through the trade-offs.
- Dates. An opening day, an event, a festival. Tell us the real date and we will tell you honestly whether the looms can meet it.
- Delivery address and pincode. We ship across India. We do not export yet, so please do not plan an overseas delivery around us.
- Your GSTIN, if you want it on the invoice. Our quotes include GST; see GST on yoga mats.
- Anything unusual. Mixed sets, colour preferences, questions about customisation. We will say plainly what the loom can and cannot do rather than promise and disappoint.
Sampling
The simplest sample is one mat ordered from the site at the listed price, delivered like any other order, with cash on delivery if you prefer. Practise on it for a week, wash it as the Mat care page describes, and see how it dries in your climate. If you want to compare two or three fibres side by side, say so in the enquiry and we will suggest the best way to arrange it.
A bulk batch will match the sample in weave, size, construction and care. The shade may differ a little, because we dye with plants in batches and plant colour varies; see why plant-dyed mats change colour. For a studio this is usually a feature. For a corporate gift where every box must match, tell us, and we will weave the order from one dye lot where we can.
Lead times and the loom schedule
A handloom produces one mat at a time, and a weaver works one loom. Yarn is dyed in batches and dried in shade, and in the monsoon drying is slower. Orders already on the looms are finished before new ones start. That is why we do not print a lead time in days: it would be true one week and false the next. Tell us your dates as early as you can, and if a date is fixed, say so in the first message.
Pricing and payment
We do not publish a wholesale price list. We quote each enquiry on the quantity and the mats, and the quote includes GST. Payment terms are set out in the quote; online payment on the site is being set up, and we will explain the options for a bulk order when we reply.
A note on latex
All our mats except the Darbha have a thin layer of natural tree latex brushed onto the underside for grip, as described in the natural latex grip layer explained. If you are allergic to natural latex, or a student at your studio is, choose with care and write to us first; the Darbha is backed in cotton cloth and has no latex layer.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order quantity?
We do not publish one. Tell us the number you need and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for both of us. A small studio ordering a dozen mats is as welcome as a company ordering for every employee.
Can you put our studio's logo or name on the mats?
Ask us and describe what you have in mind. Our mats are woven and plant-dyed, not printed, so customisation is a question of what the loom and the dye shed can do. We would rather say so than promise something we cannot weave well.
How far ahead should we order?
As soon as you know your date. We cannot give a number of weeks because the lead time depends on what is already on the looms when your order arrives. An early enquiry with a fixed date is the surest way to have the mats in time.
Do you ship bulk orders outside India?
Not yet. We ship across India only, and we would rather say that clearly than take an order we cannot deliver.
When you are ready, write to us through the Contact page with quantity, mats and dates, and we will take it from there.
